Bio

The Environmental Strategies Group is a specialist investment unit at BNP Paribas Asset Management run by co-heads Ulrik Fugmann and Edward Lees who have worked together and invested thematically for more than 23 years.

 

The group invests exclusively in environmental solutions companies globally whose products or services directly contribute to solving climate change, aiming at both reducing CO2 and other greenhouse gas emissions as well as protecting and restoring our natural capital and ecosystems.

 

The group manages about USD 5 billion across three funds, specifically two long-only funds BNP Paribas Energy Transition and BNP Paribas Ecosystem Restoration as well as the environmental themed long/short equity fund BNP Paribas Environmental Absolute Return Thematic Fund (EARTH).
