Senior Portfolio Manager
BioOlivier is a senior portfolio manager and analyst in the Structured Finance team and is the lead portfolio manager for collateralised loan obligations (CLOs).
He joined BNP Paribas Asset Management in 2002 and was appointed portfolio manager in 2005, having spent three years as a quantitative research analyst. Before joining BNPP AM, Olivier spent three years in BNP Paribas Group’s General Inspection department, where he conducted management audits of the group’s financial markets businesses.
Olivier began his career in 1989 as a trader for BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB), first on the French Treasuries primary dealing desk and then on the swaps and derivatives trading desk. He was then appointed senior trader in BNP Paribas’ ALM department, where he was responsible for hedging the group’s fixed income exposures.
Olivier holds a graduate degree in economics and a post-graduate degree in international finance&taxation from Lille II University.
He is based in Paris.
