Multi-Asset, Quantitative & Solutions (MAQS) BNP Paribas Asset Management
BioWei Li is the Head of Multi-Asset Investments at BNP Paribas Securities (China). He joined the BNP Paribas Asset Management in 2019.
In his role, he leads the team to conduct research, develop and implement investment strategies and manage portfolios, involving Multi-Asset, quantitative investment and derivative structures.
Before BNPP AM, Wei spent almost 11 years working at Citigroup in both London and Hong Kong. He managed multi-billion dollar funds investing globally across multiple asset classes and derivatives with various quantitative investment strategies.
Wei is also an Adjunct Professor at City University of Hong Kong, where he specializes in quantitative investment, with a particular focus on Machine Learning (AI) techniques. Wei holds a PhD in Engineering Management from the University of Alberta in Canada. His research focuses on Quantitative Investment, Machine Learning, Optimization, and Operations Research. He is a CFA charter holder and also holds the Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF).
