Bio

Over 25y of experience.

Guy Davies is Chief Investment Officer for Fundamental Active Equities, including convertibles. His responsibilities include global and regional equities – both in developed and emerging markets, with teams located in Asia, Europe and the US. He has oversight responsibility for all activities relating to the management and performance of the organisation’s equity investment teams, strategies and portfolios.

He joined our company in 2008 via BNP Paribas Asset Management’s acquisition of IMS Limited. Prior to joining us, Guy was a Founding Partner and co-Chief Executive at MM Asset Management, which was acquired by IMS in 2005. Guy began his career at Mercer Investment Consulting.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Economic History from Bristol University in the UK and is an Associate of the UK Society of Investment Professionals (ASIP).

Guy is based in London.
