Bio

Hüseyin Akar joined TEB Asset Management in 2020 as Strategy and Research Manager. He started his career in the Treasury Department of ICBC Turkey Bank and later worked as an economist there, He took part in the founding team of the International Markets department at Garanti Securities. He received his bachelor’s degree from Bahçeşehir University (Turkey), completing a double major programme in Mathematics and Economics. He holds a master’s in Economics from Boğaziçi University (Turkey). He has been working in financial markets since 2014.
