Bio

Prior to joining our firm, Mario worked as an economist within the European Economics team at Morgan Stanley in London, where his main area of coverage was the ECB. Before that, Mario was a senior economist at the Research Department of the Bank of Italy for over a decade.

He has published academic papers on a range of topics, spanning monetary economics, fiscal policy and financial stability issues.

Mario holds a PhD in Applied Macroeconomics from the Toulouse School of Economics.
